Twisted Dimension is a series of geometric plotter drawings that explores the illusion of three-dimensional space through precisely constructed lines, grids, and repeated geometric forms. Interlocking cubes, polygons, and angular structures appear to fold, twist, and shift between dimensions, creating a sense of spatial instability. The controlled repetition of fine lines produces moiré-like optical effects and complex visual textures, while the contrasting colored grounds heighten the tension between flat surface and imagined volume. Created with a systematic, computer-driven approach, the series reflects Gnosick’s interest in the intersection of mathematics, geometry, perception, and machine-generated drawing.
Javier Iglesias (b. Madrid, 1977), who works under the name Gnosick, uses the plotter as both a drawing instrument and a means of translating algorithmic structures into physical works on paper.
