The controlled repetition of fine lines produces moiré-like optical effects and complex visual textures, while the contrasting colored grounds heighten the tension between flat surface and imagined volume. Created with a systematic, computer-driven approach, the series reflects Gnosick’s interest in the intersection of **mathematics, geometry, perception, and machine-generated drawing**. Javier Iglesias (b. Madrid, 1977), who works under the name Gnosick, uses the plotter as both a drawing instrument and a means of translating algorithmic structures into physical works on paper.
