From Manfred Mohr's Cubic Limit II phase (1976–77) — P-196 was programmed in 1977, per his own catalogue; this signed offset lithograph was printed in 1979. From the body of work, in which the cube became his alphabet: P-196, programmed in FORTRAN and drawn by plotter logic into a vocabulary of cube fragments. Issued as a signed offset lithograph, 37.5 × 52.5 cm, in an edition of 250 (unnumbered).
