Description
DES07 (September 1980): a plotter print on vellum from Giloth's DES series, inscribed "Copper Giloth DES07 Sept 1980 yellow" — the body of work she was making the year she became the Electronic Visualization Lab's first MFA graduate. An iteration of this work, DES07x3, hung in the 1982 SIGGRAPH Art Show — the first juried one, which she herself chaired; forty-five years later the series resurfaced in her first New York solo at Microscope Gallery.
