Description
A still life with the scenic painter's depth — literally: Purtee's panels carry inches of built-up relief under the oil and encaustic. His portfolio titles the 16 × 25 work "Still Life in 5 Moments" (the record has said "Movements" — check the label; a separate "Still Life in 3 Movements" exists, so the titles cross-contaminate easily). Acquired at the KinoSaito Annual community art benefit in Verplanck, opening day, December 12, 2025.
