Hi-ReS! — the London studio founded in 1999 by Florian Schmitt and Alexandra Jugović — was one of the defining forces of Flash-era interactive/web art. The book chronicles 1999–2008: personal projects like soulbath.com / Greyscale Paradise (built inside a 30-day Macromedia Flash 4 trial, celebrating malfunction as beauty) alongside film sites for Requiem for a Dream, Donnie Darko, Minority Report and The Center of the World, and client work for MTV, Diesel, Sony, Mitsubishi and NTT Data.
