Fractured Time

Composed of bent shards and twisted slivers, Fractured Time is an exploration of how we might visually perceive gravity's effects on linear time. Like an astronaut who gets too close to a blackhole, how would we make sense of this four-dimensional time-space experience? The pieces of the world as we know it would no longer align. Everything would stretch, splinter, pulse, and fray around us. This is my attempt to capture that mind-bending trip in two dimensions.
