Description
This work is generated by a field of invisible circular force vectors that displace the plotted lines. Each circle exerts its greatest influence nearby, its effect smoothly diminishing over distance to create soft, organic distortions; multiple force fields combine to produce complex interactions across the composition, while subtle horizontal dithering introduces slight variations between individual lines, giving the drawing a more natural texture.
The composition also contains four cavities, each with its own unique force field, their influence varying according to size and position relative to the surrounding invisible forces. Cards D through F are plotted using a CMY moiré offset process, where cyan, magenta, and yellow layers are intentionally offset to create shifting interference patterns and color interactions.
Plotted on a standard Bicycle playing card; signed and dated "Zachary Hendel '26" along the right edge.
