American author, illustrator and filmmaker (b. 1957, Shreveport, Louisiana); co-founder of Moonbot Studios. Co-directed 'The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore' (2011), which won a Prix Ars Electronica 2012 Golden Nica / Award and an Academy Award for Best Animated Short.
