Vincent Pidone
Vincent Pidone is an artist based in the Hudson Valley region of New York whose work centers on moiré patterns created by overlapping fields of fine lines. He produces his moiré drawings both by hand and with an AxiDraw pen plotter, and has also used frottage (graphite rubbings) and experimented with adapting the AxiDraw to dispense paint. He was profiled as a featured artist by Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories in 2019 and showed a solo exhibition of moiré drawings at Walnut Hill Fine Art in Hudson, New York, that year. He is a friend who lives in Kingston, up the river.
