Quentin Hocde
Quentin Hocdé is a Brussels-based creative developer, visual artist, and generative artist whose work brings together code, motion, interaction design, and algorithmic image-making. A graduate of Gobelins in France, he has been making websites and interactive digital work since 2013, including six years at Locomotive in Montreal, where he worked as a creative developer and later lead front-end developer. He now works independently, building crafted websites with motion, subtle details, and playful interactions. Alongside his commercial web practice, Hocdé creates generative artworks that use algorithms to produce colorful visuals, animations, looping compositions, and plottable works. His projects often move between screen-based experiences and physical output, reflecting an interest in making digital systems feel tactile, expressive, and alive. Works such as Fractured Landscapes use animated and plotter-ready lines to evoke natural forms while reflecting on environmental fragility and the relationship between digital and tangible art.
