Peter Sarkisian

American video and installation artist (b. 1965, Glendale, California; based in Santa Fe, New Mexico). Sarkisian began as a filmmaker and in 1994 shifted to video-projection installations that fuse the moving image with sculptural objects — video mapped onto cubes, pillows and figures so the projection appears to inhabit the physical form. Works include Dusted (1998) and Hover (1999). Represented by I-20 Gallery, New York.
