Oleg Abakshonok
Oleg Abakshonok is a Warsaw-based generative artist and creative coder — a p5.js mentor "in love with plottable traditional art imitations," as his fxhash bio puts it. Minting on hic et nunc since spring 2021 and on fxhash since its first winter, his projects (Flying Portals, Wind Waves, Shattered Obelisks) are built to be drawn: liner-pen and ball-pen aesthetics, hand-drawn energy from deterministic code. He also works in 3D and has evangelized generative art to developer audiences, sixty-five slides at a time. I love this series: my Shattered Obelisk on the wall is a physical manifestation of the NFT — I plotted it myself from the token I hold — and beyond the shattered ones, I reached out to Oleg to acquire an "unshattered" obelisk too.
