mpkoz is Michael Kozlowski, an American artist from Kalispell, Montana, based in Seattle. He studied film at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, wandered into a creative-coding elective in his final year, and ended up building mixed-reality R&D at Microsoft — including on the HoloLens team — before quitting in 2021 to make art full time. His work moves between real-time graphics, projection, augmented reality, and on-chain generative systems: Chimera (Art Blocks Curated, 2022), Parnassus (Bright Moments Berlin, 2022), and Metropolis (2023), the first Art Blocks × Bright Moments partnership project. As the fourth link in Please Respond (2026), he took Mathias Isaksen's exploded sky and packed it into a raytraced box of translucent blocks and spheres.
