Mathias Isaksen is a Norwegian generative artist from Oslo who worked under the alias st4yhome before his own name caught up with him. He finished a master's in applied physics and mathematics at NTNU in 2020, consulted in tech briefly, and then went full-time into art — building his systems in R and JavaScript, an unusual toolkit he has repaid to the community as open-source packages and a domain-warping tutorial that made the rounds of generative Twitter. His long-form projects include Factura (gm.studio, 2022) and Gumbo (Art Blocks, 2023). For Please Respond (2026) he was the third link in the chain, softening fingacode's waveforms into cloud-like blocks of color that bleed past the margin.
