Hans Wurman

Hans Wurman (1922–2001) fled Austria during the 1938 Anschluss and built an American career as an arranger, composer, and sound engineer — co-founder of Chicago's dB Studios, father of film composer Alex Wurman and cellist Felix Wurman. The Moog Strikes Bach (RCA Red Seal, 1969) was his answer to the Switched-On craze: Chopin, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Paganini, and Bach through the modular, one of the earliest Moog records.
