fingacode

fingacode is the artist name of Junior Ngoma, a Cameroonian-born generative artist based in London. He spent about a decade as a software engineer and creative developer before turning to art, and his work carries both halves: audio-visual generative systems built largely in TouchDesigner, plotter drawings, and experiments toward textiles, threaded through with ancestral heritage and the patterns and movement of Cameroonian culture. He has released work through Bright Moments (Translucent Panes, 2022), fxhash, Foundation, and tender.art (Scribbs, 2025), and in 2026 he was the second link in Tyler Hobbs' Please Respond chain, answering Hobbs' opening algorithm with spiraling waveforms that kept the palette but bent the geometry.
