The Bre Pettis Collection of Computer Art

David Rosenboom

David Rosenboom (b. 1947) is the pioneer of brainwave music — neurofeedback as a compositional instrument — and was among the first composers to play a digital synthesizer, working with Don Buchla. He taught at York University in Toronto and later spent more than three decades on the CalArts music faculty, much of it as dean. On Being Invisible (1977) appeared on Music Gallery Editions, the label of Toronto's Music Gallery, where it was recorded live.
