Christopher Scott (2)

"Christopher Scott" never existed: per Discogs' community research (echoed by MusicBrainz), the name on Switched-On Bacharach (Decca, 1969) was a joint pseudonym of Jean-Jacques Perrey — the French Moog pioneer of Perrey & Kingsley — and arranger Dave Mullaney, a Laurie Records VP later of Hot Butter ("Popcorn"). A cash-in on the Switched-On craze, then, but a cash-in by the people who started it. (Attribution community-researched; cited cautiously.)
