CCDDBB
CCDDBB is the artist name of Claudio Dalla Bernardina, an Italian generative artist, visual artist, photographer, and documentary maker. His official site describes an early relationship with computers beginning with a VIC-20, followed by work across Photoshop, 3D Studio, web and graphic design, reportage photography, documentary video, 3D modeling, animation, and realtime 3D content. He has lived on a tropical island in Thailand for more than a decade, where the pandemic-era shutdown of his restaurant gave him time to return deeply to art and discover Hic et Nunc and, soon after, fx(hash). His generative practice brings together code, design, photography, blockchain-based editions, and a strong interest in pen plotters. CCDDBB is especially associated with single-line drawings and plotter-based work, describing an “obsession with single-line drawings” and a desire to bend a line without breaking its flow. Projects such as Noisy Gardens, Furry Gradients, Mercalli, Milena’s Flowers, One Liners, and line.length-1 show a practice that moves between playful algorithmic experiments, organic textures, personal memory, and meditations on continuity, nature, and mortality. psst: https://objkt.com/tokens/KT1G1wt3PFhfLf6UW6bJGsuNuhgnNWKSh7sW/396
