Brian Richard Hart

American · b. 1983

Brian Richard Hart (b. 1983) paints, prints, and draws from The Parker in Nyack, New York. A RISD BFA whose silk-screening training still runs the show, he builds paintings as hand-separated CMYK layers — color separation done by eye and brush, not machine — and draws in silverpoint, the Renaissance metal-point line that can't be erased, only committed to. His permanent installations live inside Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return and Omega Mart; Brian came to my workshop and I found he was doing halftone-style art by hand — the machine was a natural next step, and he's dug in: the plotter now runs full time in the front window of his framing gallery at the Parker while the hand work happens at the bench. His 3D-to-2D work is innovative and inspiring. The works in this collection came straight from the studio in the summer of 2026.
