Ana Jungle
Ana Jungle is the working name of Anastasia Jungle-Wagner, a Carnegie Mellon BFA (class of 2026) whose drawings are hybrids in the truest sense: p5.js systems plotted by AxiDraw, then overlaid with hand drawing and embellishment — embracing figures interwoven with machine-scribed poem text, typewriter-character tonal portraits, even real-time text performed on an architectural auto-scriber. Twice through Golan Levin's Drawing with Machines studio (2024's rule-based poetry in embroidery; 2025's hybrid plots), a Rosenberg first-year award and a Glassburn Francis award along the way, and shown at the Bantam Tools Machine Arts Gallery in Peekskill in January 2026. The way she combines a typewriter-style plotter with her drawings gets me every time: emotional, elegant, poignant.
