Alejandro Campos
Alejandro Campos is a Spanish creative coder, architect, researcher, and generative artist born in Valencia in 1988. His work brings together architecture, art history, critical theory, classical music, and technology, using code to create systems that feel both structured and playful. Trained as an architect and architectural historian, Campos approaches generative art with a clear sense of spatial logic, conceptual framing, and historical reference. Since discovering generative art in 2021, Campos has used platforms including fxhash and Ethereum-based venues to create long-form generative works that explore authorship, memory, representation, and the relationship between algorithmic systems and visual imagination. His projects include Enfantines, Fuga a tientas, Pensado a mano, Maps of Life, Fantasía, and collaborations such as Draftwerk with Anna Beller, where software-generated compositions are translated into physical painting and drawing processes.
